Why only 20% merino wool?
More merino wool makes a cardigan heavier, more difficult to wash, and more expensive without proportionally more comfort. The mix of 20% merino and 80% cotton was consciously chosen for this reason: you get the thermoregulating properties of merino wool, the softness of cotton, and a cardigan that can simply be machine washed at 30°C.
What is the fit of the cardigan?
Roomier than average, but that's intentional. The oversized fit provides freedom of movement and a casual look.
Can I also use this cardigan in the summer?
The merino cardigan is most suitable for autumn, winter, and transitional seasons. You can certainly wear the cardigan in summer on cooler days, but always check what your child needs at that moment.
